Connecting Your Heart with the Lord’s.
Slaking Thirsts is a podcast for those whose hearts ache, pine, hunger and thirst for more.
Fr. Ryan Mann, ordained in 2014, and Fr. Patrick Schultz, ordained in 2016, are Catholic priests who serve the Diocese of Cleveland. They met in the summer of 2006 at their home parish of St. Mary in Hudson, OH.
These two parish priests share a deep friendship, a sincere love for the LORD and His Church, and an infectious passion for evangelization. Slaking Thirsts grew out of their shared vision of the human heart and the conviction that Jesus, at all times, and in all places, desires to draw near to man, personally and tenderly, to satisfy his deepest yearnings and desires both for healing and superabundant life and beauty.
Fr. Ryan and Fr. Patrick speak regularly on a wide range of topics from marriage, to spirituality, masculinity and femininity, anthropology, and evangelization, always returning to the centrality and indispensability of the heart as the locus of encounter – both man’s heart thirsting for Christ and Christ’s heart thirsting for man’s.
Through this platform, the wider Catholic Church gets to “listen in” on the ministry and work of these two happy Cleveland priests and friends.
